Rangharajan Venkatesan is a Senior Research Scientist in the ASIC & VLSI Research group in NVIDIA. He received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2009 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University in August 2014. His research interests are in the areas of low-power VLSI design and computer architecture with particular focus in deep learning accelerators, high-level synthesis, and spintronic memories. He has received Best Paper Awards for his work on deep learning accelerators from IEEE/ACM Symposium on Microarchitecture (MICRO) and Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC). His work on spintronic memory design was recognized with the Best Paper Award at the International Symposium on Low Power Electronics and Design (ISLPED), and Best paper nomination at the Design, Automation and Test in Europe (DATE). His paper titled, “MACACO: Modeling and Analysis of Circuits for Approximate Computing”, received the IEEE/ACM International Conference on Computer-Aided Design (ICCAD) Ten Year Retrospective Most Influential Paper Award in 2021. He is a member of the technical program committees of several leading IEEE/ACM conferences including ISSCC, DAC, MICRO, and ISLPED.

MK Radhakrishnan (M’82, SM’94, LSM’18) is the Founder Director of NanoRel LLP -Technical Consultants providing analysis-based solutions to micro and nano electronic industries for improving reliability of devices. As a researcher in the area of semiconductor device failure physics for more than 35 years, he worked with industries (ST Microelectronic and Philips), research institutions (Institute of Microelectronics, Singapore and Indian Space Research Organization) and in academia with National University of Singapore. As a technical consultant he works with many MNCs and also provides training on device failure analysis & reliability to various Industries, Universities and Research Centres.

Dr. Eng. Sarwono Sutikno

Sarwono Sutikno received M.Eng and Dr.Eng degrees in Integrated System, Electrical and Information Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology. At present, he is associate professor at School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung at Bandung, Indonesia. He also appointed as ISACA Cybersecurity Nexus Liaison for Indonesia since 2014, SME for Information Security Standard for ISO and ISACA Academic Advocate since 2007. He is a member of IEEE, ISACA and ISC2. He is a member of information technology technical committee at national program on standardization at National Standard Body. He received (ISC)2 Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements (ISLA) 2011 – Senior Information Security Professional Award.

“The Analog Designer’s Toolbox (ADT): Towards A New Paradigm for Analog IC Design”

Dr. Hesham Omran received the B.Sc. (with honors) and M.Sc. degrees from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2007 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, in 2015, all in Electrical Engineering. From 2008 to 2011, he was a Design Engineer with Si-Ware Systems (SWS), Cairo, Egypt, where he worked on the circuit and system design of the first miniaturized FT-IR MEMS spectrometer (NeoSpectra), and a Research and Teaching Assistant with the Integrated Circuits Lab (ICL), Ain Shams University. From 2011 to 2016 he was a Researcher with the Sensors Lab, KAUST. He held internships with Bosch Research and Technology Center, CA, USA, and with Mentor Graphics, Cairo, Egypt. In 2016, he rejoined the ICL, Ain Shams University, where he is currently an Associate Professor. He created the Mastering Microelectronics YouTube channel with 8k+ subscribers. He co-founded Master Micro in 2020 to develop the Analog Designer’s Toolbox (ADT), a novel EDA tool that defines a new paradigm for analog IC design. Dr. Hesham has received several awards including the Egyptian State Encouragement Award for Engineering in 2019, Ain Shams University Encouragement Award for Technology in 2022, and the Design Automation Conference (DAC) Innovator’s Award in 2022. He has published 40+ papers in international journals and conferences. His research interests are in the design of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, and especially in analog and mixed-signal CAD tools and design automation.
