Assc. Professor at the University of Tokyo

Dr. Yoshio Mita got his Bachelor Degree from the University of Tokyo, Department of Electronics Engineering,  in 1995. Then, Master Degree from the University of Tokyo, Department of Electrical Engineering, in 1997. In the same university, he got his Doctoral Degree in 2000. During his Doctoral Degree, he spent 1 year, 1997-1998, at the Electronic Microelectronics Research Institute (IEMN / ISEN) in Lille, France as a associate researcher. His research topic includes fabrication of micro-and nanostructures using microelectronics technolgy (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems), design and realization of minaturized mechano-electronic devices, test method and test structure development for and by MEMS technology, and capturing and perception device made by Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) technology.

In 2000-2001, he became an Assistant Researcher at VLSI Design Education Center (VDEC), the University of Tokyo. In 2001-2005, he became a Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, the University of Tokyo. Then, from 2005, he became an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, the University of Tokyo. Currently, he also an Adjunct Faculty Member in VDEC, the University of Tokyo.

In 2000, he received Prof. Niwa Memorial Award for his research on  A MEMS-Oriented Distributed Processor for Integrated Feed-Back Controller. Currently, he also a reviewer of the following journals: IEEE JMEMS, IEEE J. Semiconductor Manufacturing, IEEJ J.MEMS, Jpn. J. Applied Physics.
